Get help filing taxes at Fremont Public Library in Mundelein

Mundelein-area residents can get help filing their state and federal income tax reports online from a counselor at the Fremont Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 27.

The counselor will be at the library, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, from 6 to 8 p.m. that day.

Assistance is open to patrons with annual incomes of $84,000 or less in 2024.

Register for a free, 30-minute session at fremontlibrary.org.

Basic computer skills are required. Patrons need to bring the forms and receipts that show money earned in 2024 and tax-deductible expenses paid, such as W-2 forms. interest statements and charitable receipts.
