No injuries reported in Buffalo Grove kitchen fire

No injuries were reported at a stove fire in Buffalo Grove Thursday morning.

The Buffalo Grove Fire Department arrived at a 4-unit townhouse in the 200 block of Thornapple Court after being notified of the fire at 11:25 a.m.

The single occupant had evacuated on their own and was treated for smoke inhalation, according to the BGFD. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the affected unit was determined uninhabitable. This case remains under investigation.

The BGFD was assisted by the Arlington Heights, Long Grove, Palatine, Wheeling and Des Plaines fire departments.
