Hoffman Estates Park District Annual Egg Hunt on April 19

The Hoffman Estates Park District will host its annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, offering three separate locations throughout the community. Families can join the fun starting at 9 a.m. at Pine Park, at 750 Charleston. The second hunt will take place at noon at Fabbrini Park, 1704 Glen Lake Road. The final event of the day is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Cannon Crossings Park, 1675 Nicholson Drive.

To enhance the event experience, HEParks has introduced advanced registration for the first time this year. A $5 per child fee for in-district residents applies, which allows the park district to plan effectively for supplies and activities. This adjustment aims to create a more seamless and organized experience, ensuring families can enjoy a well-coordinated and enjoyable outing.

The Egg Hunt will feature age-specific groupings, allowing children of all ages to safely participate in the search for colorful, treat-filled eggs. A highlight of the event is the golden eggs hidden throughout the parks, which offer special prizes for lucky participants. Families should bring their own baskets to gather eggs and enjoy the excitement of the day.

Following each egg hunt, families will have the chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny, who will be on-site to greet participants and add a festive touch to the occasion. This annual tradition draws hundreds of families from across Hoffman Estates and the surrounding area, providing a fun and memorable way to celebrate spring.

“Our annual Egg Hunt is one of our most anticipated events,” said Paige Calvey, Program Manager at HEParks. “By requiring preregistration this year, we can better accommodate families and ensure every child gets to enjoy the day to the fullest.”

HEParks encourages families to register early, as spots are limited for each time slot and location. Registration is required for all participating children. HEParks continues to provide engaging, family-friendly events that bring the community together. Events like the Egg Hunt showcase the Hoffman Estates Park District’s commitment to creating opportunities for residents to connect, celebrate, and enjoy local parks.
