Americans must stand up against dictatorship

We didn’t realize that on Nov. 5, 2024, we were electing co-presidents, Trump and Musk. One continues to lie outrageously (the tragic D.C. plane crash was caused by DEI policies) and issue illegal executive orders; and the other has been given a free hand to reshape the federal government, terrorize and intimidate hard-working employees and violate laws at will. Both have complete contempt and disregard for the law and U.S. Constitution.

And what is the reaction of the GOP-controlled Congress? A shrug, cheering and willful ignorance. This is what fascism and authoritarianism look like. We have a person who sees himself as a Supreme Leader accountable to no one. The Republicans are spineless and debase themselves to curry his favor.

We, as a people, must stand up and say, “Enough! You cannot rule this country as a dictator.” If we don’t, we will see the end of democracy in this country. Is that what we really want?!
