Lincoln State Cat Show returns to St. Charles with up to 200 cats

The Lincoln State Cat Club will hold its 63rd annual benefit show on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22 and 23, at the Kane County Fairgrounds.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, and admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors age 60 and older and children ages 6-11, free for children age 5 and younger, or $40 for a family four-pack of two adults and two children.

The Kane County Fairgrounds is at 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

The event will feature up to 200 pedigreed and household pet cats being judged in eight rings. Author and radio personality Steve Dale will speak at 1 and 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be vendors of cat-related products, a cat food drive, local rescue and shelter cats available for adoption, cats visitors can pet, speakers discussing all things feline, and a kids’ stuffed animal contest at noon both days.
