Michael Gobber selected 2025 Illinois Realtor of the Year
Michael Gobber, managing broker and partner of Century 21 Circle in Westchester, has been named the 2025 Illinois Realtor of the Year, the Illinois Realtors announced.
The award is in recognition of Gobber’s dedication to excellence and his profound impact on the real estate industry, Illinois Realtors said.
Gobber, of Elmhurst, began his real estate career in 1999 and has served in various leadership roles for local, state and national Realtors associations.
He led the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors in 2019 as its president and was named its local Realtors of the Year in 2021.

At the national level, Gobber has been a National Association of Realtors director since 2020, has served on multiple committees and is a 2021 graduate of NAR’s Leadership Academy. He currently is NAR’s regional vice president for Region 7, representing Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
Gobber is among an elite group of Realtors nationwide inducted into the Realtors Political Action Committee Hall of Fame for lifetime contributions of at least $25,000.
He also has served on the Westchester Chamber of Commerce for 15 years, including a year as president. He has volunteered his time to the Westchester Fest Committee, Veterans Day Run Committee and the Westchester Fest Economic Development Committee. He volunteers with the BEDS Plus emergency housing program and the men’s club at the Divine Infant Jesus Catholic Church.
