Support local families with #Love214

This isn't just any Valentine's Day. It’s 2-14: the annual day for the District 214 community to show just how much they #Love214.

On this special day, the community come together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of District 214 students and families. In times of crisis, we’ve seen how quickly the community can respond. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, causing economic hardship and job losses, the #214Cares fund was born to provide emergency relief. Thanks to the generosity of local supporters, over $100,000 was raised and distributed to nearly 400 families in immediate need.

But the need didn’t stop there. Since 2021, the 214 Cares initiative has expanded, providing ongoing support for essential needs like housing, transportation, food, clothing, medical costs, mental health support and even memorial expenses.

This Valentine's Day, it’s time to continue the work. All proceeds from #Love214 will go directly to the 214 Cares fund, to ensure that every District 214 family gets the support they need. Your gift, no matter the size, will go directly to students and families in the District 214 community. This is more than just a day; it’s an opportunity to show the love that’s been a part of the community from the beginning.

Together, the community and the 214 Cares can make a lasting difference and help show District 214 students, staff, and families that they #Love214 and #214Cares.
