Losing our knowledge
I used to work for a company that had a very specialized product. There were only seven engineers in the world that knew the product. We had four and another was with a local competitor.
One day the word came to us that we had been bought out. Soon, every Friday one of us would be replaced by someone from the new company. Within a few months most of the people who knew the product were gone and the engineers went to work for our competitor. What the new company got was a shell of what they wanted.
This is what is happening in Washington right now under Trump and the government will work poorly as anyone who knew anything will be gone. God help us all.
