Voices Unlimited Chorus welcomes new singers

In preparation for the spring rehearsal schedule and the Spring Choral Concert on May 18, Voices Unlimited Chorus is accepting new singers.

Do you have the talent to sing, but right now are what we call a “choral orphan.” Just no place to showcase your talent?

If you fit the description, we have a place for you. And the best part is you don’t have to read music, be a soloist or even audition. Voices Unlimited does have solo quality voices and members who read but it’s not a requirement for membership. The three requirements are you want to sing, have fun doing it, and make new friends!

To learn more about Voices Unlimited, call or drop an email to David Barth, chorus founder and director, at davidabarth@comcast.net or (630) 707-1221.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. in the choir room of Journey of Hope Methodist Church, 37W040 Highland Ave. in Elgin. Highland is the first stoplight north of where Randall crosses over Route 20.

The spring rehearsals will start Tuesday, Feb. 25, and go through Tuesday, May 13. We’re looking forward to hearing from you and following up your interest with ours.
