Pedestrian injured by truck in Batavia

A person was injured Tuesday afternoon when they were hit by a semi-trailer truck in Batavia.

The person is in stable condition at a hospital, Batavia police said in a news release. The release did not list the age or sex of the person.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at Kirk Road and Wilson Street.

The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash. No citations have been issued. The truck driver is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
