Lake Barrington board meeting canceled because of expected absences

Lake Barrington officials canceled a village board meeting scheduled for Monday night because not enough trustees were able to attend to have a legal session. A committee-of-the-whole session was canceled, too.

The board’s planned agenda, which included a proposed pay raise for Village Administrator Sharon L. Peterson, will be carried over to a meeting scheduled for March 4.

Whether that meeting will be held at Lake Barrington’s village hall or not depends on whether construction there has finished by March 4. Monday’s meeting was supposed to occur at Barrington village hall.
