No injuries in Carpentersville house fire
A Carpentersville home sustained $400,000 damage when fire broke out in its attic Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Nobody was in the home in the 800 block of Salem Lane when firefighters arrived, and nobody was injured, according to the Carpentersville Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials said.
