New Afrocentric boutique opens in Aurora
A new Afrocentric boutique opened Monday in Aurora bringing the heritage of African fashion to the state’s second-largest city.
SamandaRose Couture opened at 481 Commons Drive on Aurora’s far east side. It is the city’s ninth business to open so far in 2025.
Founded by Nigerian native and Aurora resident Folashade Familola, the boutique offers ready-to-wear and custom-made outfits, accessories, and statement jewelry.
Aurora starts the first Monday of Black History Month with the opening of a new Afrocentric boutique on the city’s far east side.
