DuPage Senior Council seeks volunteers for meal delivery, well-being checks, and companionship
The DuPage Senior Citizens Council is looking for volunteers to provide services to seniors.
Sometimes, a volunteer is the only person a senior will see all week. Not all seniors are enjoying their golden years surrounded by family and friends. Increasingly, seniors are living alone and in need of others to get through their days.
From increased social isolation to worry about their next meal, seniors depend on the DuPage Senior Citizens Council to meet their needs. As a volunteer-driven organization, they depend on volunteers to meet senior’s needs every day.
Volunteering with the DuPage Senior Citizens Council is rewarding and convenient.
It serves the seniors in DuPage and Kane counties as well as some surrounding communities with in-home meal delivery, well-being checks, friendly visits, and more.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to fit your schedule and level of interest, including meal delivery and dining, home maintenance, pet care and food assistance, social connection, or administrative duties.
Note: Not all volunteering opportunities are available at all times.
