CLC celebrates Black History Month with arts, discussions and more

Celebrate Black History Month with College of Lake County this February. Across all three campuses, CLC is hosting a lineup of events that honor Black culture and history. From art to inspiring discussions to hands-on workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“Black History Month at CLC is more than a celebration — it’s a chance to learn, connect and grow together,” said Miesha Ransom, director of student activities and inclusion. “Join us for inspiring events that highlight the rich history, culture and contributions of Black leaders, artists and changemakers. Let’s come together to honor the past, celebrate the present and inspire the future.”
