Elgin Area Chamber to honor businesses and volunteers at annual event

The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting reception on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom at the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave. in Elgin.

The event will honor outstanding member businesses and volunteers; recognize Elgin Area Chamber retiring board members; commemorate the chamber’s successful achievements of the past year; and outline this year’s programs and events.

Cost is $30 per person, which includes hors d’oeuvres and a beverage ticket. Registration can be made at ElginChamber.com.

“We are pleased to have this opportunity to give our members time to network and make valuable connections, as well as celebrate and recognize the achievements of our dedicated members and volunteers at this annual event,” said Carol Gieske, CEO/president, Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce. “The engagement of everyone drives the success of our programs and events and connections with new businesses in our community.”

• City of Elgin Community Development Department — Community Partner
