Batavia investigating liquor-store break-in

Someone smashed the front door and stole items from Batavia Liquors early Tuesday morning.
Batavia police responded to an alarm at 2:10 a.m. at the store, 1804 Mill St. They saw a car exiting the parking lot and chased it south on Randall Road before giving up at Orchard Road due to unsafe speeds, according to a news release.
