Casten collecting cards for veterans, military personnel

Democratic U.S. Rep. Sean Casten of Downers Grove is encouraging people to create homemade Valentine's Day cards for veterans and active duty military personnel.

Cards can be dropped off weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Casten’s office at 800 Roosevelt Road, Building C, Suite 204, in Glen Ellyn. The deadline is Feb. 7.

Cards can be mailed to that address, too.

Casten staffers will collect cards between noon and 6 p.m. Feb. 4, at Casten’s office in Oak Forest, which is at 15350 Oak Park Ave. Building C, on the second floor.
