Tests have a purpose
I totally agree with Art Dulan’s letter about reasons seniors should take regular driving tests. What’s the problem in proving we still have quick reflexes, good judgment, knowledge of rules. It proves to me I’m still safe to be on a road but also assures me that the other seniors are capable as well. Please don’t charge us to do this; it’s hard enough to make do with our finances. Set aside a certain day of the week just for seniors for road tests if people complain of “hardship.” Frankly I don’t see a problem with the tests.
