Police: Evanston man broke window at Palatine Metra station
An Evanston man was arrested Sunday night and is facing a felony charge after shattering a Palatine Metra station window with a rock, according to police reports.
Palatine police officers heard the shattering glass while patrolling on the 100 block of West Wood Street around 9:30 p.m. They discovered Jamal T. Sutton Malone, 31, standing next to the broken window, reports show.
Sutton Malone was charged with one count of Criminal Damage to State Supported Property, which is a felony. He was released from custody Monday morning and is next scheduled to be in court at 9 a.m. Jan. 30.
