Butler beats DePaul 86-69

INDIANAPOLIS — Butler’s Pierre Brooks scored 29 points and the Bulldogs used a 10-0 run in the second half to pull away from DePaul and record an 86-69 win Saturday.

Jahmyl Telfort added 18 points for the Bulldogs (9-11, 2-7 Big East Conference). Finley Bizjack had 17 points.

N.J. Benson finished with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the Blue Demons (10-11, 1-9). CJ Gunn added 16 points for DePaul. Conor Enright had 12 points, 6 assists and 2 steals.
