Forget candy — sing at the Des Plaines Public Library for Valentine’s Day

The Des Plaines Public Library will host a karaoke party next month for folks not exactly in the Valentine’s Day spirit.

Dubbed “Anti-Valentine's Day Karaoke,” the bash is set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the library, 1501 Ellinwood St.

Admission is free. Attendees must be at least 21 years old. Refreshments will be provided.
