Calvary Church of Naperville Celebrates Inclusivity with Night to Shine

An enchanting and unforgettable evening is about to get underway as Calvary Church of Naperville hosts Night to Shine!

Set for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Calvary Church, 9S200 Route 59, Naperville, Night to Shine is a prom-style event for individuals with special needs, ages 14 and older. A global initiative supported by the Tim Tebow Foundation, the evening is designed to provide a joyful and inclusive atmosphere that honors the incredible worth and value of every individual and features a guest list of 200 participants.

“This evening provides a unique opportunity for our guests to experience an atmosphere of love, support and joy, while showcasing their incredible worth and value,” said Landon Sloan, children’s pastor for Calvary Church. “We are super excited for this event.”

Night to Shine is a prom-style event for individuals with special needs, ages 14 and older. It is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Calvary Church, 9S200 Route 59, Naperville.

The event will begin with a red-carpet entrance where guests will receive enthusiastic applause and be treated like stars with paparazzi-style photography. Inside, the evening continues with activities including dancing, karaoke and other fun activities, culminating in a heartfelt crowning ceremony. Each guest will be honored as a king or queen, a touching moment celebrating their uniqueness and importance.

Night to Shine reflects Calvary Church’s mission to “Reach our Radius” by fostering community engagement and support for the special needs community in the Chicagoland area, Sloan said. This event is made possible by generous sponsors including Gerald Subaru of Naperville.
