Batavia police station warming center to open Saturday night

The Batavia Police Department lobby will serve as a warming shelter from 6 p.m. Saturday to noon Wednesday.

There are no sleeping facilities; no dedicated hygiene or washing stations; and no refrigerator for food storage.

Check in with the front desk. The department is at 100 N. Island Ave.
