What Palatine’s change in payment processing means for residents
Palatine has changed its payment processing vendor effective Monday and the costs associated with credit card transactions will now be passed along to the consumer, village officials said.
Residents can avoid fees by choosing to use the newly offered option to pay by E-Check. The village also will continue to accept payments by cash and check.
This change will impact all payments managed by the village, whether in-person or online. The only exceptions will be payments made online through the parking portal or the Dacra portal, as they are not required to change vendors at this time.
Contact the village at (847) 359-9082 with questions.
