Nightmare is ending

While thinking about the last four years of the Biden presidency, I couldn’t help but recall a comment President Ford made at his inauguration, on the day after Richard Nixon resigned because of his role in the Watergate scandal. Mr. Ford said “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over.”
