Nominate a student for MLK Service Award by Jan. 10

The annual Service Above Self MLK Day Youth Awards are presented to Aurora students in elementary school, middle school, high school and college who are upholding Martin Luther King’s dedication to community service.

Recipients will be presented awards during the 40th annual Aurora MLK Ceremony at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, at East Aurora High School.

Students can be nominated for service projects at school and/or in the community.

Nominations are due by Friday, Jan. 10, at www.aurora-il.org/MLK2025
