New competitive pickleball leagues offered at Naperville Park District in 2025

Pickleball enthusiasts can now register for Naperville Park District’s new, skill-leveled adult pickleball leagues at www.napervilleparks.org.

These leagues are for players who have basic understanding of the rules of pickleball and are looking to play in a fun, social and competitive environment.

The park district offers three different leagues varying in experience level, including Advanced Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Matches will take place at Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive. The games are played in round-robin fashion over eight weeks of pre-assigned rotations.

Scores for each match will be recorded each week and turned in to staff at Fort Hill. The winter session runs from Tuesday, Jan. 21 to Tuesday, March 18.

As pickleball’s popularity continues to grow, Naperville Park District continues to expand its offerings for the sport. The park district provides 50 outdoor pickleball courts, including tennis courts with pickleball court lines, as well as indoor pickleball during open gyms at Fort Hill Activity Center.

Additionally, programs are offered for individuals new to the sport who are interested in learning basic strategy and rules. For any information regarding pickleball, including programs and court locations, visit napervilleparks.org.
