Naperville Jaycees accepting band submissions for 2025 Last Fling
The Naperville Jaycees Last Fling is taking band submissions to play during Labor Day weekend, Friday, Aug. 29 to Monday, Sept. 1.
“The Fling has been a much beloved community event and fundraiser for nearly six decades,” said Karen Coleman, member of the 2025 Last Fling Planning Committee. “We look forward to vetting a variety of band submissions to ensure we can provide a little something for everyone this upcoming Labor Day weekend!”
Musical artist submissions are being accepted until end of day, Friday, Jan. 31 via the event website LastFling.org/JacksonStage only. No other form of application will be accepted.
Please keep in mind, the following information is required: name of the act, contact name and number, availability for Aug. 29-Sept. 1, performance price, and music sample (including a video or YouTube link).
Bands must have 90 to 120 minutes of material to be considered for the upcoming event.
The Naperville Jaycees is a not-for-profit service organization for young professionals dedicated to personal growth while giving through community service and fundraising efforts. The group’s annual events include numerous worthwhile projects which positively impact the community. The group also organizes and staffs the Last Fling in close cooperation with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District, Naperville community organizations and hundreds of volunteers. Monthly meetings are open to all, and are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Judd Kendall VFW (908 West Jackson Avenue) in Naperville.
