Two end-of-life thoughts

Regarding Nick Giovanni’s letter regarding the Illinois end-of-life-bill, I have two things to say.

One is that only God should be allowed to decide when it’s time for a person’s soul to go to heaven, and I agree to “protect life.”

Secondly, what I disagree with is the comment that “unlike dogs, people have a soul.” Clearly the writer hasn’t had the undying love, trust and companionship of an animal because this is completely incorrect. Animals go directly to heaven, and they all have souls. Any animal parent would agree with me on this.
