Arlington Heights Fire Department offers CPR training

The Arlington Heights Fire Department offers the Heartsaver CPR Course once a month at the fire department administration building, on the second floor of Fire Station 2 at 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road.

The course will reach participants emergency resuscitation techniques, injury and cardiac arrest prevention, treatment of cardiac emergencies, and treatment of choking in adults and infants.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a course completion card from the American Heart Association.

The next sessions are set for 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 14 and Feb. 10. For registration information, visit www.vah.com/cpr.
