Dundee Township Park District to host preschool open house

Families are invited to discover the enriching opportunities available at the Dundee Township Park District preschools during a series of open houses this January. Meet the staff, tour the facilities, and learn about the curriculum designed to nurture young learners.

The first open house will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Washington Street Preschool, 21 N. Washington St. in Carpentersville.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the open house will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rakow Center, 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville.

The third open house will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Sleepy Hollow Center, 875 Winmoor Drive in Sleepy Hollow.

These events provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to explore the classrooms, ask questions about programs, and understand how the preschool prepares children for a lifetime of learning.

Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year for residents begins Saturday, Feb. 1, at Randall Oaks Recreation Center from 9 a.m. to noon. Secure your child’s spot and take the first step toward a bright future!
