Winfield Township seeks mental health board members

Winfield Township is seeking people to serve on its new mental health board.

Township Supervisor Nicole Prater will appoint seven members to the board with advice and consent of township trustees.

The board will focus on supporting people in enhancing, maintaining and restoring mental health, with the authority to build, maintain or repair mental health facilities and services, and to contract with other service providers.

Board members, who must live in Winfield Township, will serve four-year terms.
