Chili Open golf tournament is Saturday in Des Plaines

Registration is open for the Des Plaines Park District’s annual Chili Open golf tournament, which is set for Saturday, Jan. 4.

The nine-hole tournament will be held at Golf Center Des Plaines, 353 N. River Road. Tee times are scheduled for 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.

Chili will be served after each round, courtesy of Club Casa. Beverages will be available separately for purchase.

In addition to golf, contests and raffles are planned.

Anyone 8 years or older can play. Participation costs $30 per person.
