Palatine man charged in connection with multiple crimes

A Cook County judge has ordered a 20-year-old Palatine man detained on a felony charge in connection with a Palatine burglary and other crimes.

Palatine police arrested Jaylin A. Glenn Dec. 16 following an incident on the 1100 block of North Rohlwing Road. Police said he was charged with trespassing to state supported land, obstructing a peace officer and reckless conduct, all misdemeanors.

During the arrest, police found items on Glenn from a Nov. 24 retail theft that occurred on the on the 700 block of Dundee Road. He was subsequently charged with felony retail theft.

Additional investigation led to Glenn’s identification as the suspect in the Dec. 1 burglary on the 700 block of East Dundee Road, police said.

Glenn is due back in court Jan. 17 in Rolling Meadows.
