Tower Brass Ensemble takes center stage at Wheaton College Artist Series

Wheaton College Artist Series will feature the Tower Brass Ensemble on Friday, Jan. 31.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Armerding Center for Music and the Arts, 501 College Ave. in Wheaton.

Led by artistic director and tubist Charlie Schuchat along with seven other acclaimed Chicago-area brass artists, Tower Brass Quintet was founded in 1997 as an extension of the music ministry of Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Since then, the Ensemble has flourished in countless settings throughout the Chicago area.

Today, the mission of the Tower Brass Ensemble is simply to create joy and beauty through music. Engaging diverse audiences is also important, as it allows more people to experience and appreciate the beauty of brass music. Music has the power to bring people together, regardless of their background or beliefs.

The Tower Brass Ensemble strives to create this kind of connection with its audiences. The Wheaton College Artist Series is delighted to welcome them to the stage of Armerding Concert Hall for a festive 75th anniversary Artist Series debut.

Tickets are $33.04 to $54.28, which includes a service charge.
