Geneva announces Christmas tree disposal schedule

Geneva residents who want to dispose of their natural Christmas trees may do so for free on their garbage days during the weeks of Dec. 30 and Jan. 6.

After that, disposal will require a waste sticker. All decorations, tree stands and nails should be removed. Trees in bags will not be accepted.

Wreaths and roping must be discarded in the regular trash.
