The giving spirit

Barrington Giving Day, held on Dec. 14 at Station Middle School in Barrington, was a reflection of our kind and caring community. Families received essentials such as winter coats, boots, snow pants, mittens and much, much more. Countless contributions from volunteers and donors helped 466 families with 1,093 children. Those served consisted of local families in need and even some refugees who escaped war in Ukraine. Barrington Giving Day personified the giving spirit of the holiday season. It made me proud.
