What flag designs truly represent

Notice how a majority of the top 10 new Illinois flag designs have a preponderance on the color blue ?

Democrats have a supermajority in the state. Sponsoring this legislation is from Rep. Kam Buckner, Chicago, and Sen Doris Turner, Springfield, both Democrats. I can see why the abundance of blue color would be acceptable to them.

Nine out of 10 designs are downright awful, and the one I find acceptable is not much different from the current flag we proudly display now. That begs the question, why bother changing it at all ?

This is a complete waste of taxpayers’ money, which our state is so competent at.

Food for thought: Kamala Harris might have gotten 55% of the Illinois popular vote, but only 14 out of 102 counties were in her favor. Do these new flag designs represent the citizens of Illinois, or just the party in power ?
