Des Plaines fire may have been arson, police say

A Thursday night fire on the 400 block of West Oakton Street in Des Plaines may have been deliberately set, police said.

The blaze was reported about 10 p.m. It was discovered between a shed and a fence on the property, according to a news release.

Firefighters extinguished the fire. No one was reported hurt.
