Aurora church plans holiday ‘Gathering’ Dec. 18

Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora will continue its Wednesday Night Gathering series with a Christmas dinner and party from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 18.

The public is welcome to attend at the church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora. Admission is free. Gatherings feature a free dinner followed by a family activity.

Gatherings coordinator Michelle Curiel, Wesley children and family director, said the Dec. 18 event will include a ham dinner, a Christmas movie, holiday card making and decorating ornaments and cookies. Attendees are invited, but not required, to share side dishes for the dinner.

Gatherings are held on first and third Wednesdays during the school year. Bonus Gatherings are held on fifth Wednesdays.

Pastor Rev. Tammy Scott invites the public to Sunday worship services at 10:30 a.m. in person or online at 9:30 a.m. at wesleyumcaurora.online.church/.
