Simple rules to fix immigration

Why the hysterics about deporting undocumented immigrants, falsely implying there will be home invasions, military troops etc. Shouldn’t we all agree that our laws must be enforced?

There is a simple and orderly way to send illegal immigrants home. Yes, they are here illegally.

First, deport all criminals and gangs. Next, stop all the “free stuff.” Medical services and education must be for citizens only. Thus, no overcrowding and burdening costs.

End all government welfare for non-citizens. Churches and charities should assume all responsibilities. Isn’t charity their mission? (The enormous costs might persuade them to rethink the “open border” idea.

Then, make English the official language. End birthright citizenship, like other countries. Employer must use E-Verify.

With these adjustments, most people here illegally will self deport. The main reason they come is to receive government aid and privileges. True immigrants come legally, pay their own way, take classes on U.S. citizenship, pass the requirements and most especially proudly contribute to America. We welcome them with open arms.

Regarding the so-called Dreamers. Legal status must be decided on a case-by-case basis to individuals who are fully assimilated, speak, read and understand English, are employed (no dependency on any government welfare) and especially have no criminal record. If they fulfill all this, they can be given provisional legal status, but absolutely no right to vote in local or federal elections.

The same should be required for refugee groups. Assimilation must be required and no automatic voting rights for non-citizens. Look how the Somali invasion has permanently altered Minneapolis.

We all know the Democrats favor open borders to expand their voting base. Remove that and they won’t care about migrants.

In conclusion, America welcomes any and all who come legally and who fully embrace a love for America.
