Hoffman Estates seeks host families for sister city visitors

The Sister Cities Commission of Hoffman Estates is seeking host families for two cultural exchanges next year, when they welcome guests from Angoulême, France.

The first exchange is April 8-15, when 15 girls soccer student athletes, their coach, a gym teacher, and a teacher colleague from Angoulême will participate in a tournament with the Hoffman United Soccer Club.

The second exchange is April 19-26, when five culinary students and two instructors will participate in the Bon Appétit restaurant event April 24 at Bell Works Chicagoland.

Host families are not required to speak French, and do not need to be available each day, as the commission will accompany exchange guests to outings.

For more information, call Bob Dohn at (847) 971-9902 or email at bob@bobdohn.com regarding the soccer exchange and Jill Wood-Naatz at (847) 507- 9724 or email jill.woodnaatz@gmail.com for the culinary exchange.
