The will of the people in Illinois

Illinois stands as one of a handful of states that can stand up to the fallacy of the Trump election being labeled, “the will of the people.” Several writers have referred to the results of the election thusly. And further, they urge acceptance of same.

Yet, Harris won in Illinois and thus, is the “the will of the Illinoisans.”

I’m proud of Gov. Pritzker’s statement that “Trump will have to come through me.” Although this might not be an exact quote, the governor is saying that he has my back, he has all of our backs, when it comes to protecting our rights.

Just to say that Trump is “the will of the people,” does not mean that Trump is a moral or righteous man. He is neither.

Trump lacks any true leadership abilities — abilities necessary to gain even a modicum of respect, especially mine.
