True agenda will show

I will always be grateful to Governor Pritzker for keeping us safe during the pandemic while the president at that time brushed it off because it interfered with his campaign schedule. While no political leader is perfect, Pritzker made safety a priority, while Trump made protocol like mask wearing a political symbol. Not wearing a mask? Then one is a freedom loving patriot. Wearing a mask? One is a woke controlling liberal.

Trump bragged about Operation Warp Speed like he was in the lab creating the lifesaving vaccines himself, yet he casted doubt on them, and yes, spoke of ingesting bleach. Meanwhile our Governor extended the lockdown to keep people alive. Trump is directly responsible for the unnecessary loss of life at that time, not to mention his J6 insurrection. His followers will do anything he says. He could have had a positive impact, set his division tactics aside, and brought the country together during a world pandemic. Instead, he furthered the divide.

That said, I’m respecting the Constitution, not the “man.” I will accept him as president until I hear his first rally as president of these United States. He promised in his victory speech that going forward, he will unite the country. If he speaks of division and attacks almost half the electorate at his first rally, then I’ll know his true agenda.
