Lake Villa holiday parade set for Saturday
The Lake Villa holiday parade steps off at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.
Participants will gather at Palombi Middle School, 133 McKinley Ave., to start a festive journey down Cedar Avenue and ending at Railroad Avenue.
Santa will light the tree to welcome the holiday season and be available for photos with his sleigh at the Lehmann Park pavilion.
Food and drinks will be available from local vendors, including 9th Hour Brewing Co., Latte Café & Bakery, and Lincoln Land Kettle Corn.
The Lake Villa Township caboose and the township elf will collect nonperishable food items along the parade routs for the township food pantry. Cash donations also will be accepted.
