Save flower farm

I was saddened and appalled after reading your front page story about the controversy over Little Ducky Flower Farm in Barrington Hills. I have one comment for the zoning board and those concerned neighbors about the continuation of the farm's operations: Shame on you. The village and residents of Barrington Hills should be thankful to Chris Yamamoto and his wife, Sarah Gul, for the beauty and serenity their flower farm brings to the community. In this day and age, don't we all need a little beauty, peace and tranquility in our day?

If Barrington Hills feels Little Ducky Flower Farm is compromising the village's character, I sure question Barrington Hills' character to begin with. This quaint flower farm with its ducks and sheep provide a chance to pause, enjoy the animals and pick beautiful flowers and bring them home. Somebody please explain to me what is wrong with that?

What is this world coming to?
