Trump, Secretariat and ‘Big Red’

They called him “Big Red.” He was Secretariat, 1973 Triple Crown Winner. Whoever saw the 1973 Belmont Stakes was fortunate to see one of the greatest horse races of all time. Secretariat moved like a freight train down the track that day and no horse was going to catch him.

Before the 1973 Kentucky Derby, Secretariat finished behind Sham in the Wood Memorial Stakes earlier in the year. So, rising from defeat, how would Secretariat do as he approached the Kentucky Derby? He would go on to win the Kentucky Derby and ultimately the Triple Crown of horse racing that year.

With this in mind, what can we conclude from the last presidential election? First, although President Trump suffered a defeat during the 2020 presidential election, he would come back and win the 2024 presidential election. Second, he would carry the Senate and House of Representatives, all three branches of government. One might say that this was a “Triple Crown” feat. Some referred to this election as a “Big Red” wave.

In 1973, numerous people became fans of Secretariat. In 2024 numerous people rallied around President Trump as he related to the people and sought to meet their needs. As the 1973 Belmont Stakes was one of the most impressive victories in the history of horse racing, so was the 2024 presidential election one of the most impressive victories in America history.

This should also not be overlooked in comparison. Secretariat’s main adversary during the 1973 Triple Crown series was Sham. As Secretariat defeated Sham, so President Trump triumphed against the “sham” tactics of the global elitists, liberals, Democrats and mainstream media.

May God now move through President Trump to help this nation return to its Judeo-Chrisitan values and foundation. May America now move forward toward more positive and common-sense policies.
