James Wilbat celebrates 33 years at Mundelein glassblowing studio

The whole family is invited to experience something different and exciting by visiting the glassblowing studio of award-winning local artist James Wilbat. Celebrating 33 years at his Mundelein location, Wilbat’s studio will be open for glassblowing demonstrations and a sale on his hand-blown glass art on weekends through Dec. 22.

The open houses will feature glass blowing demonstrations by artist James Wilbat, glass designs not available outside the studio, a sale on his unique artwork, and a drawing to win a piece of Wilbat‘s hand-blown glass.

The open houses take place at Wilbat Glass Studio, 854 Tower Road, Mundelein, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. It will also be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29.
