New Korean corn dog eatery to open in Aurora, first in Illinois

Aurora is set to open its first Korean Corn Dog spot with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22.

The popular street food sensation Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs is excited to open its newest of 70-plus locations and the first one in Illinois!

It will join more than two dozen other Asian-themed restaurants and stores at Pacifica Square, Aurora’s Asian-center shopping center.

Known for its bold and innovative take on the classic Korean corn dog, Two Hands is ready to bring a unique culinary experience with made-to-order and savory Korean flavors of corn dogs in three easy steps:

Foodies first choose their choice of filling from 100% beef sausage, 100% plant-based sausage, spice sausage, half sausage & half mozzarella, half mozzarella & half cheddar, and 100% real mozzarella.

Then they select their coating from one of seven choices: Two Hands, Classic, American, Spicy, Potato, Crispy Rice and Injeolmi

Dogs are then dipped and fried in the signature fresh batter and ready to serve with such sides as elote, kimchi fries, and dirty fries, and dozen + options for slushies and bobo tea drinks!

“We are so ready to bring this favorite Korean delicacy to Aurora,” said Jon Moon, the millennial owner of Two Hands Aurora.

The Two Hands grand opening marks Aurora’s 68th ribbon cutting this year
